In 2018, The University of South Carolina Office of Annual Giving launched the University’s first-ever, one-day, system-wide giving campaign, Give 4 Garnet: A Day of Giving. Flock and Rally was brought in to assist with marketing strategy, messaging, graphic design and more, collaborating with the UofSC team and with pros like Cait Maloney Creative and Dust of the Ground to create a campaign that ultimately raised more than $3.7 million in one day.
For the Give 4 Garnet campaign, Flock and Rally received a 2018 Palmetto Award of Excellence in Marketing Communication from the South Carolina chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC/SC), as well as a 2018 Mercury Award of Excellence in Content Marketing from the S.C. chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. The agency shares recognition for this campaign with the University of South Carolina Office of Annual Giving and the Office of Communications and Public Affairs, as well as project partners Cait Maloney Creative and film/video production company Dust of the Ground.
