Flock and Rally Marketing & Communications Celebrates Multiple Staff Promotions
Flock and Rally, the women-owned integrated communications and marketing agency based in Columbia, South Carolina, has announced the promotion of multiple team members — Ashley Cady Elsey, Hailey Covell, Mary Kate Korpita and Caitlin Dingler. The four women have served as key team members of Flock and Rally, working with a variety of branding, marketing, advertising and communications clients. Flock and Rally was founded in 2010 and offers a range of services to clients across the South and beyond, from research, branding, strategy and planning to implementation services in marketing, public relations, social media and production management as well as traditional and digital advertising.
“I’m thankful to be a part of this amazing team as we’ve grown over the years, and I’m proud of the thoughtful and creative approach we take at Flock and Rally,” says Ashley Cady Elsey, who was promoted to brand and communications strategist at Flock and Rally. Full-time with Flock and Rally since Nov. 2016, Elsey specializes in content strategy, public relations, brand stewardship and relationship management. In addition to her communications and marketing work, Elsey is an avid content creator and has helped clients like Experience Columbia, SC, The BullStreet District, Carolina Fabricators, the South Carolina State Fair and Richland Library Friends and Foundation by serving as a project manager and creative director for photo and video shoots throughout South Carolina. “It has been so meaningful to see continued success across our team — while never losing sight of our community and where we came from,” says Elsey. She serves on the executive committee of the board of Columbia Opportunity Resource (COR), the executive committee of the board of the Contemporaries of the Columbia Museum of Art and the advisory committee for the Columbia Food and Wine Festival. Hailey Covell, promoted to communications strategist at Flock and Rally, excels at client relations and project management, as well as content creation and maximizing investment in marketing and communications campaigns. “It has been wonderful growing along with Flock and Rally these past few years,” says Covell, who has been with the firm full time since Dec. 2018 and works with clients such as Able South Carolina, The COMET, Motor Supply Co. Bistro, the Congaree Vista Guild and SC Thrive. “I’m excited to continue to grow with the company and work on projects that make an impact in the Columbia, SC community and beyond.” Covell is Flock and Rally’s go-to social media subject matter expert, as she has an eye for emerging trends and content creation for client accounts. "It is such an exciting time at Flock and Rally," says Mary Kate Korpita, who joined the firm full time in May 2019 and recently promoted to marketing strategist. "We're continuing to build our team and grow our service offerings while staying true to our roots and investing in the local community. We care so deeply about Columbia, and I'm grateful to be a part of a passionate team that works tirelessly to make a difference." Korpita specializes in marketing and strategic planning, and incorporates research and analyzed trends into media relations efforts for clients such as global tech firm NTT DATA, NAI Columbia, Central Carolina Community Foundation and the South Carolina Institute of Medicine and Public Health. Apart from her work at Flock and Rally, Korpita serves on the board for Historic Columbia’s Palladium Society and is a host for the annual I Believe Anita Hill Celebration. Caitlin Dingler, who was promoted to project coordinator at Flock and Rally, specializes in social media content planning, project management and marketing. “It is incredibly fulfilling that we devote our time to wonderful clients that impact our community directly,” says Dingler. “I am grateful to serve alongside a supportive team and couldn’t be more excited about our future.” Full time with the agency since June 2019, Dingler helps clients like Columbia Metropolitan Airport, Newsome Law, the Green Book of South Carolina mobile travel guide and AllSouth Federal Credit Union — as well as Flock and Rally itself — expand brand impact through social media content creation and public relations efforts.
