Total Eclipse Weekend Columbia, SC Campaign Named Finalist in National ESTO Awards 2018

The Total Eclipse Weekend Columbia, SC Campaign was selected as a finalist for a 2018 US Travel Association ESTO (Educational Seminar for Tourism Organizations) Destiny Award in the Special Projects Category. As a DMO member of the US Travel Association, Experience Columbia SC nominated the Total Eclipse Weekend Columbia, SC Campaign for consideration on behalf of all partners involved, including the South Carolina State Museum, Flock and Rally, dedicated steering committee members such as the City of Columbia, funding partners and numerous organizers of the 100+ events held across the region during the four-day weekend, which saw an estimated 400,000 visitors traveling to and within the Columbia, South Carolina region for the total solar eclipse of 2017.
